Polenta & sopressa

Ambaradan is an event hovering between art and non-art, dedicated to the mixers of art and the senses, curated by the Loft Arte of Valdagno under the direction of Luciano Lora, which takes place at Velo d’Astico at the Villa Valmarana, where Antonio Fogazzaro wrote and used as a setting his novel Daniele Cortis, an event in which a number of artists and non-artists participate, professionals as well as non-professionals, with works of art from priceless or selected collections, as well as objects and subjects from a range of disciplines, all focusing upon the project, which highlights Duchamp, but also digresses from that same ready-made tradition that bears Duchamp’s name.
“…Among an elected participation by great art collectors, and a promotional selection of works carefully tendered by artists from the Veneto region, we are proud to announce the spectacular and unique participation of a Vicentine designer of proven quality, Paolo Donadello, whose presence takes on concrete form in an installation reflecting both art and design, combining the objectivity of structure with the subjectivity of function.  His lighting highlights an intimate and well known traditional dish, offered in the form of polenta and sopressa, upon which the design attracts both the eye as well as the taste buds.

Donadello applies his disciplinary creativity to the development of the visionary scene focusing upon the object of desire”
